Project TransAction recycled leather cuffs and belts are hand-colored with Eco-Flo environmentally safe leather dyes, and completely handmade from scrap saddle leather. (Belts made for most custom orders are "new leather," but piecing together recycled leather or using a material such as rubber bike tubing is entirely possible.) The process starts with dull brown 10+ oz. leather which then undergoes a lengthy dying and polishing procedure. The leather is then buffed and polished to a high gloss shine. In addition to custom color dyes and finishes I also offer fire branding (alpha-numeric characters, symbols, and textured designs,) stamping, and custom screenprinting on all leather products. Wrist Measuring Guide:
To determine your proper cuff size, simply wrap a cloth measuring tape comfortably around your wrist. If you prefer a tight or loose fit, adjust the tape measure accordingly. If you don't have an actual measuring tape on hand, no worries. Just take a piece of string or even a strip of paper, wrap it around, and compare the measurement to a ruler.
Cuffs that read "fits average size wrist" are adjustable from 7-8.5". If you think your wrist is thicker or thinner than most, please don't let that deter you from ordering a cuff. We encourage custom orders and will work with you to get a good fit.
Some cuffs that are shown can be easily made smaller (and in some cases larger) so don't be shy if you love one that isn't your size.
